What is THC?
Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a molecule found in cannabis plants and is the most prominent psychoactive and euphoric molecule found in cannabis today. THC is found in the part of the cannabis plant known as the trichome, a part of the cannabis plant designed to deter predators and protect from UV rays.
THC works by activating natural pathways in our brains and bodies and can have wide ranging therapeutic benefits. Therapeutic benefits may include pain relief, sleep aid, and anti-nausea. THC is also known for its psychoactive and euphoric effects that many find enjoyable. But remember everyone’s body is different, so start small when consuming THC.
